The use of inoculants in the plantation of soy in Brazil, is made on a large scale. The inoculants can be in liquid or peaty material and the peat that is used as substratum for the inoculation of the Bradyrhizobium japonicum bacterium must be radiated, so that there is no competition with other microorganisms contained in the peat.
The irradiation of the peaty material occurs in the final packing in which the Bradyrhizobium japonicum bacterium will be inoculated and later supplied to agriculturists. The packings that will receive the liquid inoculants are sterilized as well. |
